The opera house is beautiful, it's good to see such a historic building be cared for after all these years. It is sad that there's no elevator or ramp for people with wheelchairs to easily access the building upstairs but I understand that you have to do what the historical society tells you. It's still a wonderful place to hang out, especially if you are into Alt fashion or are looking for something witchy, Subcultures downstairs and The Midnight Dove upstairs had you covered!

Went to the Paracon they were hosting. It was AWESOME.
Whole downtown area is a ghost town. They could use a few million dollar investment to get that downtown vibrant again. Not much there but antique stores.
It was like going back in time.

We have gone to 2 paranormal investigations at the Opera House. Not disappointed either time. The owners are extremely nice and engaging, very educated on the history of the Opera House as well as the downtown community. They host amazing and entertaining events weekly. We're excited to check out more events in the future. I feel like you just can't get enough of this place!
A lot of talented artists here. Great listening room. A step back in time with a unique twist. I found them on social media so I can keep up with their weekly events. I’ve taken my kids to the free movie night and to a recent musical duo that were phenomenal and they had a blast both times. Y’all need to check it out if you haven’t already.

You can spend hours here looking at the VAST collection of antiques of all sorts. MASSIVE record collection. Truly amazing, lots of history. Also haunted. Check it out!
Definitely ‼️ Place to see... If you happen to be in Arcadia walk around the “ downtown “ and see all the antique shops; opera house is one of many but it definitely leaves an impression!!!
